Patricia Rodriguez

 

Patricia Rodriguez is a former graduate student of Tarleton State University. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science with a specialization in kinesiology, Exercise and Sports Sciences and Sports Administration. Formerly, Patricia was a graduate assistant for Revive Wellness, where she coordinates fitness and wellness events on the Fort Worth campus. In this role, she promotes health awareness and facilitates initiatives that inspire individuals to prioritize their well-being.

In addition to her work with Revive Wellness, Patricia served as a graduate assistant for Team Excel, where she acts as the Coordinator of Risk and Community Relations. Here, she manages safety protocols and fosters meaningful connections between the organization and the surrounding community, exemplifying her ability to balance strategic planning with relationship-building. Her leadership and organizational skills shine in these roles, where she consistently demonstrates a passion for making a positive impact.

As a newly appointed adjunct instructor at Tarrant County College, she is teaching an Introduction to Physical Fitness and Wellness course. In this position, she is empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to adopt healthier lifestyles while inspiring them to appreciate the value of physical fitness and wellness in their personal and professional lives.

Looking ahead, Patricia is actively pursuing her Ph.D. in kinesiology, with a focus on Physical Education and Public Health. This next step reflects her desire to deepen her expertise and contribute to the advancement of research and education in the field. Her ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between public health and physical education, promoting sustainable wellness practices in communities and academic settings alike.
